STRONGER FUTURES:

BUILT FROM GRIT, PURPOSE, AND POSSIBILITY

Stronger Futures exists to help people rise from the hardest seasons of life and step into the strongest version of themselves.

How it all Began

Stronger Futures was built from lived experience, not theory. Our founder, Brandon Cody Senior, rebuilt his life from a storage unit with one pressure washer and a mission to break generational cycles. As he grew his business, he saw that young adults aging out of foster care weren’t lacking potential they were lacking structure, mentorship, and real opportunity.

Stronger Futures was created to solve that gap.
Not as a charity, but as a movement backed by businesses, leadership values, and a proven blueprint for stability and success.

Meet Our Mentors

Joseph Guthrie

I’m Joseph Guthrie, founder of 3G Builders and Renovation, licensed real estate professional, and long-time real estate investor. I’ve spent years investing in properties and, in 2020, I launched 3G Builders and Renovation to take that passion further. Since then, I’ve focused on major remodels, ADUs, and home additions throughout the East Bay—all while continuing to invest in real estate and advance my understanding of housing and long-term stability.

My passion for this work comes from my own journey. Growing up, I spent a lot of time around older people who didn’t truly have my best interests at heart. Without real guidance, I had to learn many lessons the hard way. That’s why I’m committed to being the kind of mentor I wish I had.

My mentorship style is shaped by the spirit of Milton Hershey—a tradesman-turned-entrepreneur who used his success to create opportunity for young people with no support system. I bring that same blend of structure, practical skill-building, and genuine care to every young adult I work with.

At Stronger Futures, my goal is to help young adults aging out of foster care gain the habits, mindset, and real-world skills they need to step confidently into stable, long-term careers. I believe in showing up, setting standards, empowering independence, and walking beside each mentee as they build a strong foundation for their future.

Raymond Hirtle

Raymond Hirtle is the Chief Operating Officer of a successful cleaning and pressure-washing company serving residential, commercial, and municipal clients. As a Stronger Futures mentor, he leads with resilience, integrity, and the belief that real strength comes from consistent action.

Growing up in foster homes before being adopted, Raymond learned early how to push forward without guarantees. Those experiences drive his commitment to young adults aging out of the system — giving them structure, accountability, opportunity, and guidance from someone who truly understands their world.

Raymond built his career from the ground up in the trades, earning every step through discipline and hard work. As COO, he leads with clarity, fairness, and compassion, modeling the character he hopes to inspire in others.

Aligned with Stronger Futures’ mission, Raymond creates a respectful, supportive environment where young adults are challenged to rise to their potential. He works with community partners and businesses to open doors he wishes had existed for him.

Mentees working with Raymond can expect:

• A safe space with someone who understands the foster care experience
• Real-world guidance grounded in responsibility and compassion
• Practical life, employment, and communication skills
• Exposure to strong career paths in the trades
• Leadership modeling rooted in strength and character
• Action-oriented coaching from day one
• Access to real industry connections and opportunities

Raymond believes every young adult has the strength to build a stable, meaningful life. His mission is to help them develop discipline, confidence, and purpose — and thrive with the support of a committed community.

Brandon Cody Sr.

Brandon Cody Sr. is the Founder of Stronger Futures and a lifelong advocate for opportunity, accountability, and personal transformation. After building multiple successful companies in the home services and operations industry — including Professional Powerwashing & Property Maintenance — Brandon realized that business success alone wasn’t enough. What mattered most was impact.

Growing up without a roadmap himself, Brandon understands the power of mentorship and the life-changing difference a single stable relationship can make. His journey from young entrepreneur to community leader shaped his belief that every young adult deserves guidance, support, and a real chance at success — especially those aging out of foster care who often begin adulthood completely alone.

Through Stronger Futures, Brandon focuses on teaching practical skills, building confidence, and helping youth create stable, long-term careers in industries that offer real upward mobility. His leadership style is grounded in collaboration, direct communication, and a deep belief that character is built through consistency and meaningful work.

Brandon now devotes his experience, network, and passion to developing the next generation of workers, leaders, and entrepreneurs. His mission is simple: to ensure no young person ages out of the system without a mentor, a community, and a pathway to a better life.

Our vision extends far beyond a single program.

We are building a scalable, generational impact model designed to create upward mobility in every city we serve.

Our Leadership Values

We lead from the front. No one at Stronger Futures demands anything they aren’t willing to do themselves.

We build people, not programs. We measure success by lives changes — not seats filled.

We refuse to give up on people. If someone shows effort, we show commitment.

We require excellence. High standards produce high self-respect.

We create leaders, not dependents. Our goal is independence, strength, and ownership — not lifelong dependency.
